Cold Weather Workout Tips
Just because the weather is getting colder does not mean your workout has to suffer. Below are a few tips to help you maximize your workouts this winter:
Remember, if running/walking is not an option for you this winter, please take advantage of your local gym, or workout in the comfort of your own home. Every workout counts!

- Plan your workouts! Whether you are walking, running, or working out at home or in a gym, plan!
- Dress appropriately. Do not over dress just because it is cold. Find light weight jackets, thermals, and head gear that will keep you comfortable. Remember, you do not want to get too hot.
- If you will be walking or running, find locations that are well lit. Remember, with the time change, there is less daylight.
- After a run/walk or workout, change into dry clothing.
- Be sure to take your vitamins : )
